We wish to thank our many loyal customers who have supported the Render Systems Australia (RSA) team during the recent South-East Queensland flooding event.
We apologise for the breakdown in supply caused by the flooding of the Logan River and thank you for your patience and understanding. We are happy to announce our production lines are now, again operational.
We would also like to give you an update on the progress of the construction of our new factory facility.
In order to become a more reliable supplier to a greater number of Solid Plasterers, River Sands has invested in the construction of a multi-million dollar, state-of-the-art packing line – adjoining our existing factory at Carbrook, Queensland.
We have attached a couple of photos depicting the progress of the factory’s construction.
Despite the recent flood event, our engineers were successful in completing the concrete mezzanine level two weeks ago. The mezzanine will house three packing lines complete with an automatic stretch hooder and palletiser. This new facility can produce up to 5 million bags of dry mix products such as render, mortars and concrete per annum.
The European sourced packing equipment is in storage at our Loganholme Distribution Centre and will be installed in the new factory over the next four months. Commissioning will then follow.
We thought the above news may be of interest to you given the somewhat strange feedback we have received from many Renderers stating that staff from our competitors are purposely misleading them on where the RSA business is heading. As evidenced by our factory investment, our objective remains unchanged – that is; becoming the most reliable supplier of high performing renders to the Solid Plastering industry.
When the new factory is open we will be delighted to invite you for a guided tour.
Please feel free to contact us if you need further information on the subject.
